In its building energy survey for Oulun Sisustajat Oy, Planora Oy studied the consumption of heat, electricity and water as well as the major causes of cost, and presented an energy-saving action plan with feasibility studies. The recommended action plan included a calculation of the savings effect, cost estimate and accounted for other possible effects.

The survey was carried out and reported according to instructions from the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, and Motiva. Planora Oy applied for a 50% subsidy towards the survey for its customer from the Ministry of Employment and the Economy.
